Safety Data Sheets

What is a Safety Data Sheet?

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS), previously called a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), is a document that provides information on the properties of hazardous chemicals and how they affect health and safety in the workplace. For example an SDS includes information on:

  • the identity of the chemical
  • health and physicochemical hazards
  • safe handling and storage procedures
  • emergency procedures, and
  • disposal considerations

If you are having pest service conducted is it the law that you receive a receipt no matter if you pay cash, cheque or card.

If you don’t get a receipt and you have a family member or pet that falls ill, how will you know what chemicals were used at your property?

A copy of your receipt will list what chemicals were used,  it will also help the doctors treat the symptoms quickly.
